Despite the huge strides made by our community members in various fields, the sad fact is that some of our families staying at Karwar do not have any earnings and find it difficult to meet their day to day needs. Some of the cases received by our Group indeed have been very distressing wherein family members are staying in plush bungalows and the brother is staying in adjacent cowshed suffering from diseases with no money for medical treatment.

In case you come across any member from our community who needs financial aid, LMP Group requests you and your community friends should first evaluate if you can contribute and help. Alternatively atleast you are requested to fill the enclosed form and submit the completed form in the address provided. We would do our own assessment and based on our eligibility criteria revert with our response.

MP Group has also played a major role in helping Shubhalaxmi Pragati Mandal, Thane raise funds for its medical and education fund, a scheme that provides aid to the needy members of the Community. Similarly LMP is closely associated with Kalewadi, Pune in contributing to their cause for helping community members.

To address this acute poverty among certain sections in our community, LMP Group started a Helpline in 2010 wherein families are identified who need financial aid. After a careful scrutiny of the application, the family is provided a monthly amount for its basic sustenance. We also distribute Diwali hamper containing sweets and clothes to these families. We also provide aid to critical patients suffering from cancer. LMP also every year felicitates students from 8th std upto graduation residing in Karwar who have scored more than 85% (about 135 students this year). It’s worth mentioning that these students have scored upto 98% marks without any help of tuition.
